Pros: nice looking, fast speed, bright screen, sounds great Cons: graphics card seems cheaply made, finger prints illuminate the flossy case
As a student, obtaining a laptop was my ultimate goal earlier last year so that I could take notes faster in class, plus have access to a computer on the go in order to keep up with my homework. So I set out to get what I thought would be the ultimate ...

Not so fast~~~

Pros: Sleek, large screen, great resolution Cons: Crashed before a year old
I've seen other reviews on this notebook and felt it necessary to put in my two cents. The notebook gets very little use and has very few downloads on it. Not utilizing 1/4 of its capabilities. It will be a year old in Feb 2008 and it's now off to HP to be repaired for the third time BEFORE the warranty expires because I keep getting the Blue Screen of Death in which it shuts down and dumps everything. They maintain it's a hard drive problem, but with two new hard drives they have put in, they'll surely find something else this time. As usual the tech you have to work with speaks very poor English which makes the process of trying to work through in-home troubleshooting a very laborious event. Sorry, I won't buy another HP notebook.
